Huawei to upgrade Harmony OS and HiAI

Huawei plans to upgrade its two most important systems, namely Harmony OS and HiAI, which are considered as the key to the successful integration between devices and environmental systems of the device.
 
This was announced by Jason Jiang, General Manager of ‘Huawei’ Consumer Business Group in Kuwait, during a year-end media interaction in which he talked about talked about Huawei’s seamless AI strategy which will become the top competing factor among many companies.
 
The press conference on an online meeting platform was organised to welcome the year 2021 in an exceptional way with the continuous support of the media and to achieve the Huawei Slogan for 2021 ‘Better Together 2021 - Huawei Smart Healthy Life’. 
 
Jiang also talked about the tremendous success of the Huawei Ability Gallery the dynamic service platform, which many companies and service providers have recently joined, which in turn provides a wide range of products and provides an artificial intelligence experience to meet the consumers different needs.
 
Jiang said: “Huawei continues to provide all that is new and better for consumers, starting from smart technology to smart products to provide new communication methods and a deeper understanding of consumer’s needs. We at Huawei have succeeded in creating an environment that improves the feelings and experiences of consumers by developing a variety of services, and new products.”

“Huawei has demonstrated its pioneering presence in enriching consumer experiences through every product it offers. Huawei has won more than 40 awards for the series Huawei P30 and Mate X phones international tech media and leading industry organisations. the Huawei MateBook X Pro won 13 prestigious awards from leading media outlets in 2019. Huawei’s wearables won 21 best annual product awards, and the Huawei WiFi Q2 Pro won the Best Smart Home Product 2019 award at CES Asia, in addition to the larger influence and many international awards for Huawei’s non-smart devices,” said Mohammed Awais Sheikh, Marketing Director, Huawei Consumer Business Group in Kuwait.
 
Meanwhile, Huawei has launched its 2020 edition of Huawei’s Developer competition in the MEA region. The contest invites all partners from Pakistan, UAE, KSA, Iraq, South Africa, Tunisia, Morocco, Jordan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar with an existing app on the Huawei AppGallery to join with one or multiple apps for a chance to win rewards and cash prizes.
 
The contest has begun in early September and will end on December 31 for all countries.
 
The Huawei Developer competition has been created to provide awards for high-quality mobile applications built on the Huawei HMS platform. It also inspires regional developers to leverage HMS open capabilities to create innovative apps, bringing smart life services to Huawei device users.
 
With more than 4,900 registrations across all countries, the winners of the Huawei Developer competition for each country will be selected based on a comprehensive set of considerations. The main criteria of selection are based on the app’s popularity within the market (number of downloads), the HMS Core integration of the app, and the HMS Special Kit integration. The developers can win multiple rewards: from cash prizes, cloud vouchers to targeted promotions to grow their apps, and each winning app can be selected for one of the award categories (Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards).
 
After rigorous analysis of each submitted apps, Huawei will be announcing the winners for each country in the beginning of 2021. Huawei officially established the Intelligent Automotive Solution BU on May 27, 2019, which focused five areas, First, intelligence and connection, Second, smart driving, Third, the smart cockpit, Fourth, mPower, Fifth, cloud services.
 
Huawei, as a leading global provider of information and communication technology infrastructure, recently launched the TECH4ALL initiative to promote digital inclusion and bring the benefits of technology to everyone. Huawei also launched DigiTruck, Training on Wheels, where students can learn how to use internet technology to access information and services, including education, healthcare, and employment, through trucks containers equipped with the latest technology.
 
As part of its concern for children, Huawei launched TrackAI, a portable artificial intelligence device to identify visual impairment in children, and has also partnered with the Spanish Medical Research Institute IIS Aragon to develop a new medical device called DIVE, which is designed to diagnose early signs of visual impairment in children, in addition to another partnership with the British Deaf Association and the European Union for the Deaf to launch StorySign, a free app that translates selected children’s books into sign language and relies on artificial intelligence to ensure the speed and accuracy of the application. -- Tradearabia News Service
