L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering (LTHE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has won three Gold Awards by the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP - Kuwait Chapter). The awards are for exemplary performance in the field of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) for projects in Kuwait.

 

The awards are part of the ASSP Gulf Cooperation Council HSE Excellence Awards 2021 and L&T Hydrocarbon has won Gold for both ongoing projects that is, TL-5 (New 48” Crude Transit Line) and NSGEP (40” & 30” North Strategic Gas Pipeline) in the following categories:

*HSE Excellence in the ‘Sector’ category;

*Environment Excellence; and

*Management of Driving Safety.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Subramanian Sarma, L&T’s Whole-Time Director & Sr Executive Vice President (Energy), said: “This is a proud moment for all of us at L&T. The prestigious awards will be presented to L&T at a virtual ceremony on September 30, 2021 in Kuwait.
